SOIL ASSIST AND BACTIVATE
The relationship between Soil Assist and Bactivate all started with our Operations Manager and Co-Director, Ian, searching for new products based on a previous product that a farming client was looking for. The client had noticed significant changes after 3, 6, and 12 months when using the product. As it turns out, the product was Bactivate Granules applied after fertiliser they were already using around some Macadamia trees.
The beauty of Bactivate is that it works with products you are already using.
The goal is to reduce the amount of fertiliser, sprays or other ‘fixers’ because Bactivate increases soil health; it’s not a band-aid; it’s a long-term solution.
Bactivate Granules are applied on their own and have the ability to make fertiliser locked up in the soil available to the plant. The fertiliser is usually applied approximately one month prior to Bactivate Granules.
We now have clients on a 12-month Bac 5 program with some utilising Biocult

These soil sample images were taken just two weeks after one spray of Bactivate on a Rugby field - showing grass roots protruding through the dirt at a depth of 75mm. With other products, this type of growth would only be seen between 4-5 weeks at least.
